POLE KA : AVALÉS PAR LA FORÊT

Pole Ka draws and lets strange characters with recomposed bodies go astray in imaginary landscapes and grotesque scenes, populated by insects and imaginary plants. Extravagant anatomies, extinct pathologies, desolate landscapes: she etches her own history of women and their sufferings, sketching a taxonomy inhabited by androgynous ghosts with troubled sexuality and silk-screens the plans to a world which is collapsing. She also officiates in the field of noise (music) with her solo Ypaul de Quarse, and as half of Vice de Forme (label and concerts) and the group Forceps.
