In 1963, the BBC broadcasts Dr. Who's first episode, the only TV series featuring a musical theme made entirely from electronic instruments at that time. This emblematic theme was created by Delia Derbyshire, a true pioneer of electronic music who remained anonymous for too long. With a soundtrack arranged by Cosey Fanni Tutti from recordings discovered in Derbyshire's attic after her death, this documentary explores the fantasy of a collaboration, an exchange of ideas across time between two fascinating musicians, while its hybrid form mixing archival material, re-enactments and interviews sheds light on the extraordinary personality of a legendary musical figure.
