In a series of gritty vignettes, Professor Kansas Bowling details the dangers of being a young woman in a world full of male predators.

No less than 100 actresses come together to flesh out this strange filmic object which, by playing on the narrative codes of the lurid mondo and the cheesy educational film, turns out to be much deeper and more dramatic than its first images would have suggested. Terribly accurate in its subject matter, Cuddly Toys aims at what hurts, and judiciously reminds us that it is under the veneer of exploitation that the most committed films sometimes hide.
